Documentation & Automation Specialist
Function
As Documentation and Automation Coordinator of the Asset, Stock & Purchase (ASP) department, you will have administrative and technical responsibilities within a team of nine people.
The ASP department is part of the IT Infrastructure, Datacom and Security (IT IDS) department, and provides cross-functional support services for all of the IT departments.
Your activities will be focused on two main areas:
Knowledge Management, which plays an essential role in the management and dissemination of information relating to the team's activities.
- Documentation and knowledge management:
- Creating and maintaining a database of documents (user guides, procedures, policies, etc.)
- Writing, editing and publishing documents, ensuring that they are clear and up to date
- Organising and structuring documentation to facilitate access
- Using content and documentation management tools and technologies, such as SharePoint and Confluence, to create, organise and share documents.
- Continuously improving documentation by analysing feedback and identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Communicating with Business by distributing relevant information on the Intranet.
Project Management, which consists of managing automation projects to improve the efficiency and productivity of IT administrative processes.
- Analysing existing processes and identifying automation opportunities (tools: SAP, our ticketing tool Ivanti, etc.).
- Designing and monitoring automation solutions. Testing.
- Training and supporting the team and Business.
- Assessing the effectiveness of automated solutions and continuous improvement.
Very occasionally, you will also be required to provide back-up for certain administrative tasks for other members of the ASP team

Your Profile
- You hold a bachelor's degree and/or have a minimum of three years' experience working in a similar role.
- You are an excellent communicator and have mastered the art of sharing information.
- You know all about organisation and can manage projects better than anyone else.
- You have a highly analytical mind and administrative rigour forms part of your DNA.
- Although not necessarily the greatest technician, you have a clear aptitude for IT.
- You work well independently, while also possessing a well-developed team spirit.
- You deal well with stress and working to deadlines (prioritisation).
- Ideally, you possess a thorough knowledge of Sharepoint and Confluence.
- Finally, you have a sound knowledge of English and one of the two national languages (FR or NL), in addition to a good knowledge of the other language.
