Job description 

 

As a 'Strategic Procurement of Electrical Equipment' intern, you will be a valuable member of our Procurement team and help with various tasks, including the following:

 

 

  • Conducting extensive market analyses and assessing potential suppliers, taking into account market developments and the specific needs of Elia Group.
  • Contributing to the development of a strategic purchasing plan for electrical equipment based on market analysis.
  • Actively helping optimise internal purchasing processes, methods and instruments.
  • Working with us to devise additional specific tasks based on your interests and capabilities.

Your Profile

 

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with the following profile:

 

  • You are working towards your bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.g. engineering) with a major focus on commercial aspects, or vice versa.
  • You are a good communicator and a real team player.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office. 
  • You have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • You have an excellent command of French and a good grasp of Dutch or an excellent command of Dutch and a good grasp of French. Knowledge of English would be an advantage.

 

Practical details 


Period and duration:

 

  • The internship can take place throughout the academic year (September – June) and lasts between eight and twelve weeks or more, depending on your availability and learning goals. You can choose to work between one and five days per week.
