Senior Product Owner

Elia Group is at the forefront of the energy transition. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to manage and drive the development of our Digital Workplace User Support product. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for our User support platforms. They will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and designers to deliver an intuitive and user-friendly digital environment that enhances productivity and user experience. Concretely s/he will be the Product Owner of a SCRUM team that builds, governs and supports group wide solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Define and manage product vision, roadmap, backlog, and growth opportunities for the product.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Collaborate with other product owners from Digital Enhancement to ensure coherent vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure product requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Prioritize features and tasks with other departments, tracking and reporting on the product's roadmap, and milestones. Ensure operational excellent, resilience and 2nd level support of the product together with the product team.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to users' 1st line support via handbook is performed and organize on-duty service (after Business hours support) when needed together with the other product owner of the product line. 
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly digital environment.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure state of the art solution.
  • Measure product performance and customer satisfaction using appropriate tools and techniques. In particular meet on a regular basis the 1st level support manager to review the incident and ticket created to improve the offering.
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve the product continually.
  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process, ensuring all stakeholders and management are aligned and understand the product strategy, progress and budget.
  • Collaborating with procurement in the context of tendering processes.
  • Support HR in their related negotiation with the worker council (in particular in Germany).
     

Your Profile

 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in product management in IT area, preferably related to information management.
  • Experience with digital workplace solutions that support user request / user support request – example of tools: Ivanti, Service Desk, serviceNow, zendesk. Solution for call flow is also included. All tools needed to support any type of request from users.
  • Good understanding of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support organization.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, tech-savvy and curious about new technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • General willingness to travel, 
  • Language skills: English (C1); Dutch, French or German are a plus
