Strategic Buyer Electrical Equipment:
As a Strategic Buyer Electrical Equipment, you are the visionary leader spearheading the strategic procurement of electrical equipment, from transformers to advanced monitoring systems. You craft forward-thinking strategies that take into account the latest trends, technological advancements, and regulations. Working alongside our dynamic team, you seek out the best suppliers to strengthen our energy infrastructure and tackle future challenges.


Strategic Buyer Works:
As a Strategic Buyer Works, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the strategic procurement process for executing vital works projects essential for advancing our high-voltage infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing a diverse range of projects, including but not limited to upgrading substations, erecting pylons, and laying underground cables. Your strategic insight and expertise will be instrumental in shaping the energy landscape of tomorrow, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and resilient in the face of evolving demands and challenges.

 

Group Buyer Services:
As a Buyer Services, you are the driving force behind developing smart procurement strategies for diverse product categories, from technical studies to outsourcing services. You carefully analyze the needs of our internal customers and closely monitor market trends to develop strategies that contribute to our long-term objectives. By building strong relationships with suppliers, we strive for efficiency improvements and cost savings.


Buyer Maintenance:
As a Buyer Maintenance, you are the engine behind managing purchases for crucial maintenance categories that form the core of our daily operations on the high-voltage grid. You develop and implement bold procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and work closely with internal teams to ensure that our network remains reliable and meets our operational objectives.

Your profile

 

  • Master's degree in a technical or commercial field or relevant technical-economic background acquired through experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, persuasive, and willingness to challenge conventional methods.
  • Fluent proficiency in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.
  • Experience in procurement, preferably within a similar role or industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or Ariba is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in project management is beneficial.
  • Proficient in MS Office and/or PowerBI.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure.

  • Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€8 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport & culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results.

  • Communication: you will be given an iPhone, a phone subscription (for work and private use) and a laptop with internet reimbursement.  
  • Private PC plan: once every 3 years, a budget will be made available to you for a PC/tablet with software & peripherals for personal use.  
  • Discounts: you will enjoy a 30% discount on your gas and electricity bill.  
  • Mobility: we will offer you a company car and public transport or a mobility budget.  
  • Elia shares: Elia will give you the opportunity to subscribe to shares with a discount of 16.66% on the average share price.
