Technical Expert FAT
Function
Based on the study prepared by the designers, you set the parametrics for the IEDs so that they can perform the intended functions. You receive the delivery of the SPACS cabinets at the factory.
On the basis of feedback on the realisations, you contribute to the creation and improvement of standards (concept notes, application notes, technical specifications, standard diagrams, standard parametrics, etc.).
Your tasks as a Technical Expert FAT mainly include:
- Aligning the standard parametrics of the IEDs with the details of the studies performed for the projects in order to ensure the proper functioning of the SPACS cabinets.
- Supporting OCE in the factory FAT tests of the equipment ordered within the framework of the project and look for solutions in case of problems in order to guarantee the conformity of the equipment with the project study.
- Coordinating the smooth running of the SPACS cabinets (pre-)FAT by answering questions from the supplier or OCE or seeking input from the design office if the question relates to the study.
- On the basis of feedback on the realisations, assisting in the elaboration and improvement of the standards (concept notes, application notes, diagrams, IED parameterisation, etc.).
- Answering questions from the designers in connection with the standard diagrams and standard parameterisation and help to find solutions for applications that deviate from the standard in order to enable the implementation of the studies.
- Carrying out a technical control on the standard modules intended for the SPACS cabinets and the corresponding standard IED parametrics, delivered within the context of the framework agreements, in order to guarantee their quality as well as their conformity with the standards.
- You have a knowledge of all standards applicable within your work area and check that they are effectively applied.
- You plan your own workload and evaluate it regularly in order to meet the schedule of FAT testing of SPACS cabinets.
- You (remotely) support the MAC teams in case of problems during the commissioning tests.
- Within you own field, you support MACs internal designers and technical staff in such a way that they acquire a technical knowledge that will enable them to properly perform their functions within the SPACS cabinets domain. Note: Support to the designers is given from the second line. The person responsible for the designer is their senior designer or coordinator.
- You conduct an audit of the output documents of the study prepared by the drawing office in order to ensure conformity with the standard projects as defined by Engineering Expertise Secsys.
- During the factory FAT tests, you will perform an audit on the SPACS cabinets, performed by the SPACS cabinet manufacturer, in order to ensure their standardisation and quality.
Acquiring the necessary technical expertise in the subject matter is a prerequisite for performing the above activities.
