Function

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to support the Elia Assets MAC High Voltage team at Sub Schaerbeek North in maintenance and installation. Specifically, your duties will be as follows: 

- You will be involved in the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of high-voltage equipment such as transformers, switches and circuit breakers.

- You will detect and resolve faults in high-voltage installations. 

- You help ensure compliance with safety procedures when working with high-voltage equipment.

- You carry out tests and measurements on high-voltage installations to check their performance.

- You document all work and findings according to company procedures.

- You provide technical support to other teams within the company.

Your Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the following profile: 

- Electromechanical or energy engineering student. (Secondary/Bachelor/Banaba/graduate...)

- A foundation of electrical and electronic principles is essential. Familiarity with technical drawing and schematics is a plus. 

- A good understanding of and respect for safety procedures is crucial.

- Ability to identify and solve problems.

- Good communication skills are important for working effectively in a team and reporting on progress and any problems.

- Excellent command of the Dutch language, notion of French and/or English is a plus.

Offer

Period and Duration: 

The period of the internship takes place from June to September or from September to December, with a duration of minimum 2 weeks and maximum 8 weeks where you are expected to work 1 to 5 days a week. This internship also provides an opportunity to integrate and supervise the Master's thesis.

As the internship involves physical work, it should be preceded by a medical examination.
