Treasury Analyst

Function

 

The Treasury analyst will provide operational support to the Treasury team and will participate in various projects of the Treasury department. 
The function of Treasury analyst mainly comprises the following tasks:

  • Forecast, manage and/or review cash flows and liquidity positions (e.g., day-to-day cash management, loans, investments, etc.)
  • Evaluate and execute financial investment opportunities, including short-term investments, money market funds and other suitable instruments.
  • Evaluate and execute short term financing options
  • Monitor, contribute to  and update and/or (re-)formulate policies, processes and procedures
  • Maintain and/or expand contacts with Elia stakeholders, consultants, auditors, banks and/or other third parties
  • Ensure periodic and ad hoc reporting, analysis and follow up (KYC, audit reviews,..)
  • Key role in further automation & standardisation of Treasury processes in IT tools (SAP, SWIFT connectivity, …)

Your Profile

 

  • Experience in Corporate Treasury / cash management 
  • Quick end enthusiastic learner
  • Technology savy – MS Excel is a must
  • Excellent analytical skills and drive for accuracy
  • Ability to work in multicultural environment
  • Solid team player 
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in French, Dutch, and English. 
  • High standard of ethics and professionalism
  • Results-oriented
  • Prior experience with TMS/ERP, preferably SAP is a plus
