Designer Coordinator
Function
As Designer Coordinator, you are responsible for a small team of internal and external designers.
You are responsible for the coaching and the management of your team to assure that the studies they make for projects are of the required quality level and are delivered within the set deadlines..
This function primarily consists of the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Playing a coordinating role in the planning for your team :
- planning of the ongoing and future studies of your team and the compliance with this planning.
- performing analyses that can lead to adjustments in the overall planning, in terms both of resources and of deadlines.
- Evaluating the workload of each individual in a fair and balanced manner.
- Being responsible for the quality of your team’s completed studies.
- Being responsible for the technical and organisational underpinning of your team.
- Organising the transfer of knowledge within your team.
- Supervising the training of your employees (both technically and in terms of soft skills).
- Having direct responsibility for the members of your team as to the application of the Performance Management system (definition of objectives, job dates, evaluations, etc.).
- Assisting the Project Leader during technical meetings with external customers.
- Compiling the dossiers of external partners : description of the assignment and performing the checks and evaluations. Discussing the evaluation with the external partners.
Your Profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree or higher secondary education in electricity or electromechanics, or equivalent through experience.
- You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch or French. A good knowledge of the other national language is essential (spoken and written).
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a relevant sector.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent organisational skills.
- You have good communication skills, you are assertive, customer-oriented, you have team spirit and you are very creative.
- Knowledge of CAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
