Technical Sales Engineer

Function

 

As Sales Engineer, you will be part of the Digital & Data Customer Care Team, which rolls out improvement projects and helps the Key Account Managers respond quickly to customer needs/questions/complaints. Your main activities will comprise the following: 

 

  • Concluding contracts:

You will help the Key Account Manager conclude contracts (e.g. connection, access, BRP, Metering and BSP contracts). 

 

  • Dealing with connection requests and conducting technical analyses: 

You will help the Key Account Manager follow up on connection requests, including verifying compliance with the technical requirements applying to the connection in question.
You will conduct technical analyses with regard to incidents, power quality, load management, and so on.

 

  • Handling questions/complaints:

You will support the Key Account Manager and initiate the action required to offer the customer the fastest and most appropriate response possible (advice, information, action, etc.).

 

  • Managing customer data: 

You will ensure that customer files are complete and accurate, record information in appropriate systems, and transmit information to the relevant departments. 

 

  • Coordinating events and communications:

You will provide support with a view to ensuring that Elia and its products and services are known on the market. You will also coordinate and plan customer events in terms of both organisation and content.

 

  • Improving and defining processes:

Utilising your experience and cooperation within the Digital & Data Customer Care Team, you will report deficiencies and suggest improvements in order to modify/define processes, products, services and tools, and will support the implementation of these improvements (in the tools) up to commissioning.

Your Profile

 

  • You hold a degree in industrial, civil or commercial engineering.
  • You have up to three years' experience.
  • You are fluent in either French or Dutch, with a good command of the other language and of English.
  • You have a keen sense of responsibility, can work independently and have excellent organisational skills.
  • You are customer-oriented.
